It promotes, supports, and funds implementable and commercially viable innovations created for society.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Who is eligible?<\/strong> Under the initiative, an innovator of Indian nationality &#8211; student, professional and common citizen- is eligible.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features: <\/strong>\u00a0Eligible candidates are provided with technical, strategic, and financial assistance by DSIR-PRISM. Assistance is provided on the stages like idea development, prototype development, and pilot scaling and patenting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sectors Covered:<\/strong> The proposals under the scheme will be accepted for the following sectors:\n<ul>\n<li>Green technology<\/li>\n<li>Clean energy<\/li>\n<li>Industrially utilizable smart materials<\/li>\n<li>Waste to Wealth<\/li>\n<li>Affordable Healthcare<\/li>\n<li>Water &amp; Sewage Management and<\/li>\n<li>any other technology or knowledge-intensive area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial Assistance: <\/strong>The grant under the scheme is given in two phases:\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Phase I: <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Category-I<\/strong>: For proof of concept\/prototype\/models, a grant amount of around Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category-II<\/strong>: For fabrication of working model\/ process know-how\/ testing, a grant amount of around Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase II:<\/strong> For Enterprise incubation, a grant amount of a maximum of around Rs.50 lakhs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Source: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleseDetailm.aspx?PRID=1708500\"><strong>PIB<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the News?
