4. Polity: Read 5 pages of bare act
5. Read atleast 10 pages of 'Wanderings in the Himalayas'.
Once again, aim is to do these no matter the time and cost.
Anyone who can help me, kindly suggest an effective way to get rid of terrible neck sprain! It is turning out to be an actual Pain in the..................NECK!
I'm assuming this pain is due to studying at a table, reading a book placed flat on it, which means you have to continuously keep looking down (this is what happens to me).
An inclined desk might help.

Hello everyone. I am new to this plateform. Lately i been having a feeling of isolation and loneliness which hampers my ability to focus and concentrate.. took a break from studies for a day.. only to make matter worse with the anxiety and guilt which follows with no real help.. infact now a days i dont feel like going out from my study place.. watching your friends enjoying weekends and new year just adds to it when hardly any people texts you (i know upsc was my own decision and i was very much aware of the consequences). Anyone out there who have had similar situation and can suggest some way out. Anticipated thanks
Anyone here saw ER. naleesh kumar singh telegram. Where he is running prelims marathon ?I am confused whether to follow his schedule or join sfg ??He is focusing more on revision , but i am afraid that if he gets busy in some urgent work few weeks or months down the lane , all students following his plan will be stuck in midway . Also his daily targets are very very strict that is we can not get enough time for mains optional revision. But positive points are that the plan will ensure Very strong revision plan and strong 💪 concepts memory etc.on the other hand SFG targets are relatively easy ,and as forum ias is an institution there is noway programme will stop midway , but it is not revision oriented , and additional burden of prelims test needs to be taken , and prelims has 100 Q , so practicing 50 daily doesnt sounds very good to me. .Also should i prefer optional note revision ( that is no test only notes revise )and cover mgp test backlogorgive optional test and make coverGs mains NOTES backlog ( that is no test only notes )suggest something
See@Rajneesh04 post on page 132.
Vaise telegram ID/website/schedule kaha hai iss prelims marathon ka?

Rant kar du kya bas bolo?
Tum Batao tumara kesa din?
Bhai I feel 12 hours of study would suit me very well, but double digit pahuchne me bahut dikkat ho rahi hai.
Hi bhai. I am just doing good. Have just shifted to a newer place after my college exams culminated on 17th. I have resttarted reading UPSC ka stuff since yesterday. Shayaad targets post karu kal se kyunki I just joined a reading room today.
Glad to know. You have a state PSC coming, right? You earlier said about getting handwritten notes for the same.
Been busy lately. Recently got to know that the place I go to, ain't technically a library. Asha hai ki app abhi bhi SFG mai top kar rahe hain. Hamari naiyan toh doob rahy hai. PT ig feb end- mid march release hote hai?
Thinking of talking to a mentor now, let's see.
@Morticia toh bas bahana dhundti hai iOS flex karne ka xD fir badme comments delete karthy ho tum xD
Tum to keh rahe the government library thi, and vaha birthday bhi manai gyi tumhare friend ki.
@TomiokaGiyu was the first one easier?
Yes
@TomiokaGiyu did you give rau's pre prakeshan open mock test yesterday?
I found it v difficult, gave up after first reading and went into existensial crises yesterday.
I think solving sfg and watching it's solution vids has impacted me in a negative sense? Sort of creating a bias for forum?
Didn't give Rau's. Forum and vision open mocks analyse karne me hi bahut time chala jaata hai.
Hello everyone! I'm in a mental dilemma.PLEASE HELP!Background -I am studying ba political science hons from a reputed college of Delhi University. This is my final semester and I'm preparing for upsc alongside. I only started my preparation last October and have completed only polity, economy, geography and little bit of PSIR ( had college exams in December and again will have college exams in May). I wanted to give 2023 attempt just to push myself and check my capabilities otherwise i feared I'll be a bit relaxed if i aimed for 2024. I don't have any other backup option than studying masters in public policy and pursuing that career if i don't clear in 1-2 years. If anyone has the same graduation degree as me or on the basis of your experience, please suggest some course of path. Whether I should give attempt next year, first pursue my master's or continue preparing as I am.I don't have any mentor so I'd be very grateful if you all can genuinely give your suggestions!! Will be highly obliged.Ig you posted this earlier as well?
Umm,, I graduated from a decent engineering college in '22. Gave that year's pre and learnt numerous things. I'm privileged enough to risk few years of my life. Take your shots accordingly.
Bhai, I also graduated from a decent engineering college in '22. Gave that year's pre and learnt numerous things. :D

State PSC ke liye bhi aapko all the best. Kab hai?
Past 4 days have been very bad.
Things to do from tomorrow:
1) Post targets on this blog, and post completion status.
2) Go back to using YPT
3) Study at the same time everyday.
Goals for tomorrow:
1) SFG test2) 24 sessions of 25 minutes pomodoro
DId these (except the consistent study time part), and in the last two hours did a mock. Now I feel good. Much better than all the cheap dopamine and escapism I have been having for the last few days.
Targets for tomorrow:
1) 24 sessions: at no cost study less than total 10 hours, excluding test
2) SFG
@mightyraju @Morticia All best for your Mains!
I'll be active over here now, till pre.
Got an IIM interview on 24th of feb, that'll be my first ever formal interview. Getting chills already.
Ajao@TomiokaGiyu will ace pre noww.

4. 1 month Geo-agri CA

6. Revise test 42,43 SFG
All the best@DancingMaster kal ke interview ke liye.
For this week, I'll try to work hard, remaining completely isolated from any outside factor which can influence my mood. Will prepare well for SFG, but won't check the rank list. Will only focus on the mistakes I made, and how I could not have made those. For the next week, will only open one website: academy.forumias (only 6:50-9:00), and will try to do my best to understand the fact that I have to study some things which I don't like to study; that I have to study some things in moderation and not try to become an expert on them, and that there are many things I wish to read and to do, but there is more than enough time to do them later on.
I will also try to make my daily schedule and study hours unnegotiable, and not let my body or mind interfere with what needs to be done.
I am usually not so dramatic, but for at least this week, I am non-existent as far as society is concerned. Best of luck everyone.
For the last week, I have been panicking A LOT, and everyday I make new 7 day plans, and then think ki this is not a good plan, and make another.
So iss week ka plan:
1) Follow SFG 1st priority (Polity revision complete)
2) Complete Ancient / Medieval history revision (TN + NCERT)
3) Give one FLT Tues or Wednesday, and SFG simulator Sunday
I'll post my targets here for this week (please nudge me if I don't post, or deviate from my plan).
Today:
1) Revise executive + make brief notes +(revise brief notes of Legislature)
2) Chapter 1-3 of TN NCERT revise + half 6th NCERT + 1,3,4 12th NCERT + relevant portion of Singhania (just read casually)
3) Newspaper
4) Stare at UP, Bihar, Jharkhand map for 45 minutes
@Morticia @mightyraju I hope your mains went well :D (sorry for asking late)
@DancingMaster Seeing your daily targets is very motivating bhai
Could anyone who has taken Forum workbook please give a review? Are the questions actually analytical, or just memory based, directly copied from the text?Pdf send karu kya WhatsApp pe bol bas. B)

Hi bhai.I am doing good. Unconventional sa hi approach I can afford with less time at disposals focusing on solving Workbooks+ will do FLTs in the last 30 days or so.
Also,I have always felt some differences between Mocks and actual Prelims(could be quite wrong)-
Elimination- Easier in Actual Prelims vis a vis Mocks.
Make or break Sections- Those that have easier questions. Polity and Economics(maybe, Geography in the past 1-2 years) decides if one clears or not.
Tricks and all- Certainly work in actual prelims, if not that much in mocks. Not every answer turns out to be right but the net result is positive.
Agree with you on this one.
Anyone who has done or is doing Dipin Sir's Prelims CA lecture? I am getting very impatient with them. In polity classes, time is wasted on static topics given in Laxmikant, and very few topics are covered in a 3 hour class. It would be easier and faster to simply read PT365. Just want someone's opinion on this.I'd say stick with it. If you feel you are investing more time than required, watch it at 2x and take it as a part of your revision. Once the polity section of the classes are done, just go through the index of PT 365 to make sure you are not missing any important topic.
On a personal note, I kinda enjoy the classes between these heavy and tiring revision sessions.
I agree. I should complete atleast one source very well, then go on to anything else.

Very useful advice. Should atleast do one source well before adding something new.
Today's targets:
1) Agriculture revision (4A, PMFIAS chapter, cropping pattern NCERT & 1 year CA) + PYQ
2) 11th Culture NCERT + PT365 as much as possible
Abse SFG ka approach hai test subject ko atleast 2 din pehle complete karna, varna I'll spend 8-10 hours in a panicky way on a topic that should take 4 hours maximum.
Thought only I was being anxious w Abhyas result, but yahan almost everyone are eager to check their abhyas performance. Lols.
@TomiokaGiyu watch ca polity in 2x,agar dil pe hi aaraha hai toh sote sote dekhlo. But dekh lo. Last year experience se polity, snt CA gave good returns in pre.
Bilkul sahi bhai, saare lectures cover karke polity ko ek aur revision de hi deta hu.

1. You are doing well. (clocking the hours and demolishing targets like a pro)
your trajectory is good. (touch wood)
2. but D-day is still 40 days, not very far, not too close so, dont peak just yet.
3. next 20-25 days ensure to get some intermittent rest and relax as well.
what i've found is after an overdrive, burnout is inevitable. eg F1 engines needs to be replaced after every race.
all the best.<3
Thanks bhai.
As soon as I start calculating days and hours, I think I'll not be able to complete anything. But as soon as I start studying, things start getting done.

On a scale of 1-5, how likely is it for them to consider that Kabaratal Lake is formed out of meandering of river Burhi Gandak and not Gandak, as pointed out in the Vision answer key?
Down to Earth and Wikipedia mention Gandak. I assumed it was not Gandak, but I think there is 4/5 chance they'll consider Gandak.
However....
