Hi guys, few queries to those who are appearing for SFG(Online mode)
1) Do we get the question paper and answer key pdf immediately after finishing the test? Say 8-8:30am?
2) Is the ranklist published in PDF format or you get to know only your ranks?
Thanks in advance.
@DM Thanks for the video, was incredibly helpful.
A reminder: I started prelims prep slowly in November itself and was scoring ranks in the range of 20-50. As soon as January begins with mains appeared candidates joining in, the rank goes to 150s . Just shows how much intense the competition is and any slip up can be fatal.
1) Yes. The question paper (in PDF format) is available from 6:50 am, while the answer key is visible post 8 am.
2) In PDF format. We can also see our rank in the scorecard on the portal.
Non-negotiables: have been procrastinating these for long.1. Workbook2. TestWarfronts already scheduled post April 1:1. Polity : Forum red book/ Master indian polity/ Class 11 polity/ Bare Act.2. M. his : bipin chandraWarfronts to open :1. sir's previous classes (starting with SnT)2. sir's current classes3. further consolidation and revision of materials already coveredWarfronts to strategize :1. Geography : Ncert + min's class notes2. Antient Medival and culture section3. Agriculture red book ( will it be a good idea ? considering it is 150+ pages)
Agri red book is really good but it has a lot of mains heavy content. So reading it for the first time might end up taking a lot of time.
Anyone who has done or is doing Dipin Sir's Prelims CA lecture? I am getting very impatient with them. In polity classes, time is wasted on static topics given in Laxmikant, and very few topics are covered in a 3 hour class. It would be easier and faster to simply read PT365. Just want someone's opinion on this.
I'd say stick with it. If you feel you are investing more time than required, watch it at 2x and take it as a part of your revision. Once the polity section of the classes are done, just go through the index of PT 365 to make sure you are not missing any important topic.
On a personal note, I kinda enjoy the classes between these heavy and tiring revision sessions.
