C ?

Correct as per answer key also.
Although I dont agree with the answer completely, because those registered in voter's list can be of just 18 years of age also, but 18 year old teenager can not contest in municipal elections. So, technically this seems wrong to me.
Hence, I have this doubt.

choose the best amongst the given options

The Constitution states that the laws made by the Parliament are applicable only within the territory of India.

Acc to forum open test this statement is wrong.

But isnt the above statement same as the below statement.

"Laws made by Parliament may extend throughout or in any part of the territory of India and those made by State Legislatures may generally apply only within the terrirory of the State concerned. Hence, variations are likely to exist from State to State in provisions of law relating to matters falling in the State and Concurrent Lists."

May be if the option had been framed like  the Parliament cant make laws with extra terrirtorial jurisdction , then it would have been false.

Palas gave patronage to Vaishnavism and made donations to the brahmanas. Another poorly framed option. Every other ruler patronised multiple faiths and gave grants , the option should be ....Also Gave....

agree with the palas statement.

However, the parliament one- last year NIA allowed to have jurisdiction over foreign terrorist etc.

This is what i thought during the exam

i marked C.

Please help me find loophole in my thought process

if external borowwing is promoted wont it further increase demand of dollar leading to further depreciation of ruppee ? I get that it would get forex reserves.

The reason why 2nd statement is correct because it ensures that money in borrowed in ruppe denominated debt and not dollar. Statement 3 however, does the exact opposite of statement 2.

Please help

just attempted shankar mock 3. dont know how i feel. did you all attempt it ?

3.4k views

of the little experience i have at this exam, i can assure you that if one doens't commit blunders in attempting questions from standard sources in the exam hall he/she would sail through.

questions like  omkareshwar, ghantnasthal etc are no doubt an added advantage but trust me even if they dont strike you in the exam hall you can still get through with accumulated knowledge you have gathered over the time.

have faith on your preparation and knowledge base.
