Geography optional Mains 2019 discussion | Lessons Learnt

Predicting scaling in upsc is like predicting earthquakes- you can't! Plz check cse-2015 & cse-2013 geog marks or cse-2012 pubad marks. When paper is tough, scores are reduced. But, exceptions are there. So, regardless of difficulty level, choose optional based on interest. Geog anyway follows an odd-even pattern. So, you might get lucky next yr. ATB.

let's share our expected scores to get some idea of geog performance this yr. I'm expecting120 + 160
p.s. same score last yr although diff permutation

@Hartshorneyarr difficult to lay down parameters..but effective attempts, relevance, maps/ thinkers invoked, cmp to last yr performance etc etc
