YES! 1st aug date is illogical & arbitary. it should be 1st Jan, the day of year change is scientific & proper procedure. UPSC should make it fair & logical.
It is very disappointing to see that UPSC will not listen or reply to any communication except when a PIL/court case is filed. It will take 100 more years to achieve corporate level of efficiency.
