One question I had is like we write essay using lot of examples but there was one UPSC sheet checker who taught my brother in college . He was clearly saying that students give lot of examples which is not required rather analysis is important .Also he suggested the future students to read some classic books for essays
But I also saw last years toppers notebooks of vision etc in which they have gone along historical social perspective and given a lot of example
So anyone can shed light on what should be ideal way to proceed ,one that fetches marks..

@CaesarOne can also think on lines of strength of individual kingdoms of time and their need to legitimise themselves.You can note that in South India too literature was made in Sanskrit a bit but say Maratha(Marathi literature took off as Maratha kingdom got strength) ; Vijayanagar too (Kannada Telugu promoted when at prime )
