Rules + T & C for SFG Batch 2 Tests to be adhered by all students

Dear Students,

The SFG Program works because of your co-operation. There are certain rules and regulations we have in place for the smooth conduct of the program. It is a must that you adhere to them by all means.

  • SFG / RLG is NOT a test series. It is a coaching program that inculcatesdiscipline, abilityto work hard andcompetitionamong the candidates - things that are essential to clear the exam.
  • Arrive at the Venue at least 10 minutes before the conduct of the exam.Reporting time is 6:50AM. There will be a negative marks if you are late by upto 5 minutes and upto 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, you willnotbe allowed in the examination hall, under any circumstance.  We know its a coaching, not a school. But thats the point most people miss. “Coaching” is supposed to make fundamental changes to the way you compete. We would want to do that.
  • Please do not fight with the staff. They do not let you in or deny you paper for your own benefit and as per guidelines. Some of themmaylack the soft skills needed to tell you that softly. Most of them may not have the educational qualifications that you have. Let the level of education reflect in your conduct.
  • No papers will be given if you miss the test. Then everyone who is scoring less misses the tests and tries to get the paper and solve it at home. This does not work. However, if you have a medical certificate in case of an illness or if you have a State PCS Admit Card, you will be exempted for upto 1-3 days and will be provided the paper. In such cases, you will have to inform us beforehand by email with a copy of the document tovinay@forumias.academy andhelpdesk@forumias.academy
  • If you spend one hour writing the test , spend at least 1-1.5 hours analysing the paper. Make sure that you (a) do not make mistakes from questions that are from the book - its a crime and (b) if you make a mistake from a chapter you have read - you must revise the whole chapter again. And you must ensure that you will never make another mistake.
  • Be patient with the learning curve. Everyone wants to finish the syllabusyesterday. The Universe does not work that way. Stay focused and to todays task well and tomorrow will take care of itself.
  • Lastly, respect rules. If you don’t respect rules, why be a bureaucrat?

We want you to succeed,

Always
