Because of submergence lagoons are more in west coast (Mostly)..Kerala Backwaters!!!

It ( East coast) has more or less a straight coast where good ports are lacking. Mostly it is of emergent type, characterized by offshore bars, fine sea beaches, sand ridges and lagoons.

Dept banane se happiness automatically nhi aayegi. Happiness is an abstract thing, which can only come if we can understand the truth of life. Poor people can become happy if they can get some money, food to eat. Now if they become little richer, then they will become happy if their children get good education and health facilities. Now if they get somewhat more richer, then they will get happy if they can have some luxury items. This is a never ending cycle.
Happiness lie in self satisfaction and love for the work one does. I don’t know how Dept of Happiness will bring happiness – accha hai, I will investigate what will the function of this department.

I hate to say this but the explanation and solutions are of VERY POOR quality today. The questns have been evaluated wrong in most cases. This has been happening evert other day recently. 🙁 Pls improve. There may be some students (beginners) who may be blindly going by the answers marked above without checking the comments or cross checkng from right sources.

sabari originates in singaram hills of malkangiri district, indravati originates in dhandakaraya region ie.kalahandi district of odissa and passes through bastar district…bhima tributary of krishna…. -

Balaghat district occupies a pride place on the mineral map of India. About 80% of the Manganese production of the country comes from Balaghat. The recent discovery of Copper deposit at Malajkhand is regarded as the largest in the country. The district is very rich in forest wealth. About 52% of the area is covered with forest. Teak, sal, bamboo and saja are the main trees. Almost 25 years ago the district was nicknamed as “Hunters Paradise”. The district is still proud of its varied fauna consisting of tigers, leopard, bear, neel-gai, deer and bison on one side and birds like peacock, red bulbul and koyal on the other.

In explanation of q1, large number of lagoons are specified to eastern coast but still answer shows C. How? Further in other question, Bhima is tributary of Krishna river, not Godavari.
