Q5- BOD is O2 required to decompose ORGANIC wastes.
since it is COD which is O2 required to decompose all wastes
hence answer should be D.ie. neither correct. -

hey bro …can u please tell me question 4 …in 2014 ambient air qualil index has only 8 pollutants:-pm10,pm2.5,no2,so2,co,o3,nh3 and pb…………………….in 2009 there were 12 pollutants which include all options of q4………..is forum ias unupdated….,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yes it is.

When the question asks which gases are not included and option is given, all of above, that means the examiner accepts all of them are gases, even PM 2.5. I don’t know what’s the point of such ambiguous statements which are factually incorrect and inconsistent even as facts.

Is PM10 a gas ? I too did mistake in it – but I think it asks for gases.
