Actually Policy of Subordinate Isolation comes from the principle of Provincial Autonomy envisaged in GOIA-1935. I think the answer is wrong, should be 1. (a) only.

I could comprehend your question like this …
Stance change ===> previously I think 175 bps was reduced on repo in successive several meetings …..on good reduction of inflation levels … however post demonetization MPC has said no more reduction … though huge money came to banks. (So you can see the change of stance)
This meant that they wanted to wait and watch how the inflation levels will respond post Remonetization ….
I don’t know if ur question was addressesd but the crux of the story is this …. ?

I saw the word “Policy of subordinate isolation” for the 1st time , from explanation it looks same as famous “subsidiary alliance” …..
Now the doubt , How states retained full sovereignty in internal affairs ….? They were compelled to keep British troops and pay subsidy , the Resident used to interfere in internal matters and they were not allowed to employ any European other than English -

previously there was a change in interest rates by RBI, seeing fall in inflation level etc., …This stance is called ACCOMODATIVE as it will have an impact on bank lending rates (MCLR) … however the inflation levels could not be estimated in the future POST DEMONETIZATION.. thus there has been now a change in the RBI stance that no more change in Interest rates…to tide over the transitory effects of demonetization on inflation……. This is currently termed as NEUTRAL stance.. 🙂 🙂
