Answered: Bengali Language movement

The Bengali Language movement, known as the Bhasha Andolon in Bengali, took place in Bangladesh (Earlier known as East Pakistan). After the Partition of country, It was declared that Urdu will be used as a national language in then East & West Pakistan. It was massively  protested in East Pakistan as it was snatching their right to speak Bengali.This movement was launch to reinstate the Bengali as a language of East Pakistan.

The people demanded the continuation of its use as a Official Language, medium of education, its use in media, currency and stamps, and to maintain its writing in the Bengali script.
