    Policymakers have to bring new policies keeping in view various aspects for sustainable income sources. Investors have to be provided with a adequate infrastructure and liberal laws in the field of labour, taxation, duties, mining and minerals, land acquisition and a safe environment. Wages of labour should be enough to provide them a dignityful life, career development, job safety etc.

    i am a first timer to forum in the morning was about to upload my ans.., bt soon i realised that my ans was being displayed in a horizontal format on DISQUS… pls can any one suggest what steps shd i follow to avoid this and can upload my ans in vertical format and improve upon my skills with ur sugestions..

    Ethics audit Vs Financial Audit :

    1. FA is objective, EA subjective -and thus difficult to conduct as there is no audit trail as in the case of FA-thus EA depends on testimonies given by employees, juniors and peers which are often not true

    2. both would/may come in conflict- as an Organisation works on principles of Profit over emotions/culture/a good-good Environment – thus, the results of FA may be positive and the result of EA negative at the same time

    An ethical audit is systematic evaluation of work culture, behaviour and extent to which organisational values are embedded across organization’s people and processes.

    There are various benefits of an ethics audit, such as:

    a) Identification of potential risks and liabilities
    b) Improvement in legal compliance
    c) Awareness and imbibement of organizational value
    d) Improved performance
    e) Protect the organization’s mission
    f) Confidence of stakeholders

    Ethics audit is different from financial audit which is essentially an independent, objective evaluation of an organization’s financial reports and financial reporting processes. Ethics audit may consider the company’s transparency in financial matters, how it redresses grievances, how it discloses its finances, whether it punishes whistleblowers etc.

    Non-financial measures of performance are crucial to a firm’s health. Measure wholeness and soundness of a company i-e integrity of company is essential especially in context of conflicting economic and environmental interest and increasing corporate scams all over the world.
