Thanks…Preparing for this year…Read ncert and found it useful..but the point is that now since all economy is dynamic,is it worthwhile to read ramesh singh again..and mrunal has a problem of its articles not being organised properly and i find it very hard to read from it given its poor UI.

Frankly speaking.. I also have these books I found ramesh sigh good one and Mrunal is even better.. But at this point of time you need to rely on the source which you have already read once and then just revise it for this year prelims.. I have read ONLY NCERT and economics current affairs from forumias… If you are appearing for next year then you have ample of time to go through these books…they are good books…

I would suggest you to read Laxmikant for this confusion. It’s clearly stated that FD ensures political rights, and DPSP for social and economic rights and preamble for social, economic and political justice… Reading even minute details which we feel unimportant are actually very important from upsc perspective.. Upsc judges basic fundamental concepts and it demands not the mastery of the subject but a basic and foundational understanding of it… I used to ignore these details earlier and used to go into technicalities and facts which rendered me a lesson to read between the lines :-)… And you are referring to question number 5 and not 6 I believe…
