  • to aid your memory by providing audio-visual input
  • to use as last minute revision points
  • to use as an introductory video to these topics, if you watch them very carefully

Note: This post will focus on the 18th & 19th Century World History. I will write a subsequent post to cover 20th century World History in a subsequent post.

2. Imperialism

This video by John Green is an acclaimed World History video on the same used by college students all over the world.

3.  French Revolution

John Green has covered the entire French Revolution brilliantly in the above video. However, it would help if you read some text on the French Revolution before. That would help connect the dots.

4. American Revolution

This video class by John Green, pretty much covers all the major events of American revolution. Its fun to watch and easy to remember. Khan Academy has this video as their official video lecture on American Revolution.

5. Capitalism & Socialism

The above video on Capitalism & Socialism may have some bias of the video maker. It is often difficult to discuss concepts like Capitalism & Socialism without bring in personal bias. You would know what I mean when you have understood the concepts.
