Via stock exchange:

  • Directly selling shares on stock exchange
  • Faster, needs less clearances.
  • SEBI requires in each PSU, minimum 25% shares be held by public.
  • Hence Government using this method to quickly comply with SEBI norms.
  • Friendly to retail investors.

    You are right but it’s not an objective but it’s an intended purpose of their project. So intended word is apt there I believe.. ForumIAS should answer.. ForumIAS could you PLEASE CLARIFY…

  3. the words like intended etc are too generalist and can be swung either way. hence it should be straight like it’s “objective” is or “aim” is bla bla.

    see china is getting access to Arabian sea but in the question b statement is wrong bcz its wriiten china infrastrur instead of pak infra , that is y its wrng.. 🙂

    Forumias please can you again clarify answer of question 2. Because I remember the project is also about China’s future access to Arabian Sea.
