    The source of the question is D.R Khullar book on Indian Geography. You can find the same on wikipedia as well as other websites also.
    The purpose of the question was to bring out the important yet lesser known fact about monsoons.

    After reading spectrum, ncert and what not, still haven’t came across a source that mentioned that monsoon rain in majority is orographic though it was mentioned that western ghat rains are orograogic.
