thanks
First of all to my doubt, I doubt that ! ( each of the four states ) because when BSP’s national status was questioned it was said that it has more than 4% votes ( which it had nationally ) .
Now coming to yours , I don’t think so this kind of flexibility is mentioned , so you have to fulfill the mentioned conditions to their entirety in any one of elections .
In each of the four or more states – more than 6% votes are required. (it can be either in general election to Lok Sabha or in legislative assembly)
And additional condition is having atleast total 4 seats in Lok Sabha (this is aggregate no. required)
Now I have one doubt – if a party has more than 6% vote share in 2 states in Lok Sabha election and 6% vote share in other 2 states’ legislative assembly elections – is the first criterion valid ?
one doubt please clarify ! to gain the national status a party must win at least 6% votes of valid votes in 4 or more different states. now whether this 6 % is aggregate of votes in all these 4 or more states or in every state more than 6% ?
Its ok…..
