AWFG : Should we cover GS Paper 1 as well before Prelims?

So there have been demands for covering GS Paper 1 before Prelims in AWFG. Should we do it?

P.S. Poll created by root, output will be shared with Academy Team.

Maybe we can simultaneously do both, sfg and awfg for the first 2 weeks, with similar syllabus, covering Freedom struggle, art/culture and geography?

why not replace dynamic portions of gs 3, which one invariably has to cover post pre, with few static portions of gs 1?? like half&half

also the 60 days  schedule for prelims shld not be tinkered with IMO

GS3 will end on 23 July, from 26 July -30 July, we can do Society, then from August, we can do overlapping AFWG and SFG simultaneously

Please no. Need to focus on prelims asap. Maybe as MarcusA suggested we could replace some portions of gs3. Good suggestion.

Other option may be to prioritise SFG over AWFG

1) decreasing frequency of AWFG to 3 days /week  M W F

2) SFG on remaining days

Good plan would be to cover onlymainsspecificportion

society- world history- post india
(till 10/15th august)

and then shift to prelims

I don't think that continuing with GS1 would be wise step, post 23rd July

1) Clearing Prelims is must

2) If some think that there is enough time then either(GS2, 3,4) or Optional could be revised

3) As GS-1 have common pre and mains syllabus, the same would be revised post prelims SFG Mains

@forumiasacademy Few suggestions:

>>Considering 70 days post 30th July. There is a need of SFG schedule with 60 days having atleast 40-45 Test same as earlier SFG level 2.0 alongwith weekly CSAT (ranking based on CSAT 40% cutoff)

>>Reduction in Number of Test and merging of too much syllabus on single day will have a negative effects. SFG acts as an extra push in prelims preparation. So Request to you please consider these issues while preparing schedule.

>>Some part of GS1 common with prelims preparation can be manageable by writing answers on same day post morning SFG Test.

Sir,
I feel it would be better if we try to finish society,World history and post independence topics part before prelims itself and regarding other topics we can plan just 4-5 days or 1 week post prelims asap without wasting much time.
