Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Base effect ka kamal. I have been getting low marks in last few tests. (Secretlywishingto approach your marks in near future or feature in green zone for once, whichever is earlier. )
Which test papers you guys are solving?
Edit : Its for everyone to answer.
I have been not able to give my best since last few week hence I am trying out to publicly post my targets from today.
Target: 12 hours of studies
Minimum: 10 hours
1. PT 365- polity
2. AW 1 optional, 2 GS
Action on last target:
Time: 9.5 hours
Completed PT 365 Polity, AW 1 Optional. Missed 2 GS AW
Today’s target:
Time: min 10 hours, target 12 hours
Revise constitution and polity notes
Action on last target:
Time: 10 hours,
Revised Polity, AW Option, AW GS from InsightsonIndia
Today’s Target:
Time: 10-12 hours.
Polity, AW optional + Insights
Faltered badly from my target. Need to remember Umberto Eco’s ‘fill the interstices’ idea, shouldn’t have wasted too much time in breaks.
Could put only 7 hours and missed on my target to complete polity. Will try to finish it today.
Target: 10-12 hours, Polity finish it, AW optional + GS
Inspired by Neeraj Chopra, i too pushed yesterday. (Lath gaad Diya chore ne!)
11 hours of study, completed polity revision. 1 AW optional + Insights GS
Today’s target: 10-12 hours, 1 Prelims mock, start economy revision + GS 2 mains
8 hours of study, 1 prelims mock test by Vajiram, economics Mrunal revision.
need to push more, will try to start the day early.
Today target: 12 hour study, economics revision, AW
could put only 7 hours, limited targets achieved. Need to stop heavy exercise that makes me sleepy.
Also create a fixed time routine of study to achieve consistency
Today target: 12 hours, economics revision, 1 AW Optional + AW GS
Dude how do you manage 12 hours?? 9-10 is the max I can do and still be able to distinguish between my right and left hand

Haha good one bro. It’s my target if you see, though in the last 5-6 days since I have been posting on this thread it is around 8-9.
I am just setting targets like Neeraj Chopra to throw a 90m (12 hours for me). I was putting average 11 hours for about 3 months post failure in this year’s mains but again got casual with time. Hence need to up my game. 12 is possible, but a routine is need, i have to get into the rhythm which I am missing at the moment.
Besides hours are not the very best measures of performance, so see if u are able to match your expectation standards. I see it as more quantifiable so follow it.
Btw world record in Javelin is 98m. Similarly in 24 hour day after 7 hours of sleep you have 17 hours so you can even put more. So we can definitely improve by a big margin.
Good morning folks! Targets for 10.8.21 are:
medieval india morning slot
nov 2020 c/a
test
analysis
csat
daily c/a
editorial- ie+ hindu
ancient india
@Celeborn i shall check it out, i think they have added the group feature if I’m not wrong :)
Done with almost everything for the day. Couldn’t finish all the targets I had kept for ancient india, but still going to bed knowing that today was a productive day. First day back on YPT felt good guys.
@Newton i don’t think I can retain things if I only study all day long. Literally dimag ka dahi ban jata hain.
@The Force same. I think I’m right now setting targets and seeing whether or not I can achieve them in the day. Some days it is possible, while other days it isn’t.
Maths ->projectiles theory + PYQs done
CA ->Jan 2021 remaining topics done
Environment ->revision done
Newspaper ->done
Time studied - 9 hours 35 mins
It was another productive day. I had set ambitious targets which I didn't think could be done. I was planning to wrap up by 11. But then just a doable amount of work remained so I sat for another 50 mins and finished of my targets (yayy!!)
Tomorrow I'll keep the load lighter as there's bound to be a drop in energy.
D 7 10/9
I.R - done
Mod his - only some part
Polity and csat - still to do
Not a good day ,had difficulty in concentrating properly .
How do you guys maintain your concentration while studying for these long hours ?
Any suggestions are welcome. 🙂

Good Good!Done all except the last target. What makes me to gush is not the quantity but rather the quality of study hours in the past 2 days. The focus has been good and I hope it continues(will force it to continue anyway) this way around.

Not the way I wanted to proceed. Did only Rousseau, missed Mills and Bentham bhaiya. Also wasn't able to do the GS wala part. I went awry during the day, but I was able to shift the momentum back in the later parts. Will do well tomorrow at all costs.

Had a decent day after a while. Was able to finish the SFG target, and almost finish the CA target. Maths, of course, is getting neglected because prelims but this is the last chapter that I have to finish before prelims so need to be done with it. Clocked around 8 productive hours today.
Targets: 9-10 Hours
- SFG Tests Revision: Indian Geography (4)
- Finish Vision May 2021 CA
- Start Vision June 2021 CA (1/3)

Today was a tough day. Was sleepy throughout and kept losing concentration while studying. Switched a lot of screens following the final word on Messi (don't ask, it couldn't be worse!).
Finished the SFG tests, did a little bit of maths and struggled with finishing the May CA magazine. I could have finished the CA but going to sleep early so that sleep doesn't trouble me tomorrow.
