Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

This is for this query that got lost somewhere
"do people skip cse mains for IFoS? If yes, what is their success rate?
Note- I got severe covid 2 weeks ago, still recovering. Lots of time wasted. I am not sure if I will be able to give my best with no study or revision in last 2 weeks."
@Pureheart Do not skip the Mains examination even if you are absolutely sure that your preparation is not upto what you expected. Writing the Mains in real will once for all have at least one bnefit, and that is , you will have an exact idea of what the demand of the mains exam is. Missing the Mains, means you are no more experienced than a candidate who has not cleared Prelims.
Civils is an exam where experience matters. Your perception of the exam changes or I should say / evolves with time.
And I say this with experience.
