CSE 2021: Plan / Strategy / Daily Routine

Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.

This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.

No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

@sstarrr  After studying, I'll revise it on 1-4-7th days, after that every 7th day.
I didn't mention revising until now because it didn't take more than 2 hours to revise the content I studied.
from now on, Ill mention it.

This time I am planning to study Current Affairs by Daily Summaries of 2/3 websites plus MCQ instead of Monthly PDF. But don't know which one to follow.

1. Vision IAS daily

2. IAS BABA daily

3. CivilsDaily

4. Insights

5. Forum IAS etc etc.

Kindly recommend which 2 to pick.

Hello@naviiin. I am also following a similar strategy of replacing monthly magazine with daily current affairs. My strategy for now is using the following sources: Forum IAS daily 9pm initiative, Forum IAS factly daily, and Shankar IAS daily newspaper analysis (about 30 mins. in length).

My view about the other sources: I have seen civilsdaily, it is pretty good but most of all is already covered in Forum (if you cover both the initiatives). Vision IAS monthly magazine is pretty good but daily current affairs is not so good (it is cluttered and short). I would recommend forum over IASBaba and insights as it contains more relevant topics and is more comprehensive.

Nice. And you are very consistent in updating your target and progress achieved. Even on work days, you try to cover a substantial portion. Really praiseworthy! :)

Can't suggest exactly which 2 you should be going for but yes Forum IAS may be chosen as one. I had seen that of BYJU once and I was very impressed. You may have a look. It is published with the name of Comprehensive News Analysis (CNA).

Yes, that happens almost to everyone but I know inasmuch as you are committed, you will overcome that also. :)

@kasanasandy007133 I could do only ncert history of class six and found it very good for upsc. However I couldn't do national park flora and fauna as schedule was busy. However I rethought about national parks flora and fauna and decided to only study these whenever it appears in news only because going through each and every national park is bulky and lengthy. So shifted to news papers or websites for same.

Is someone interested in discussing the committee, reports of various committees on different issues, best practices - very useful for the way forward? As there are many and sometimes we don't even know if a particular topic had any committee made in past, so it will be very useful if there is a collaboration and thus we can cover the maximum.
