Yeah and the worst part is the way the paper was set last year. Erving Goffman? Really? That was coupled with the easy ones. It was like UPSC was playing a diabolical game with us which it really enjoyed.@AureliusM I can feel ya mate.Only advantage Anthropology has is regarding a really well defined syllabus coupled with no dearth of guidance and study material. But that too gets normalised due to the enhanced number of candidates with this optional in recent years.
» show previous quotes 6 hours N95? I didnt see anyone do that except my doctor when I got COVID and got admitted to hospital. I dont think there will be too many people at the center. 9k across the entire country! reason why they will go ahead with the exam!
There are many people at the centre because there are countable number of centres, unlike Prelims. I am not sure about the hubs like Delhi and Blore but small states like Bihar and Odisha have just 1 school/college each, FOR THE ENTIRE STATE. Everyone from the state flock to that one institution, make staying arrangements, fooding arrangements between the papers. The logistics is not just difficult for the Commission, but also for the aspirants.
Having said that, I am sure exam will happen. अडियल्पन्ति की कोइ सीमा नही ।
All the best guys.
Ps. Plz let me know what you will be snacking on between papers, esp those who have travelled alone to a different city for the papers.
Cook MTR Poha and carry it along in a tiffin + Juice packet for lunch.
Wow so much empathy is making my heart melt. If you are gasping for breath just come and write the damn Papers on time or play the Russian roulette of prelims next year for all we care. There fixed it. I can barely complete my paper even if I pump my lungs with oxygen and they expect you to actually have a fighting chance while you are feeling breathless.
They should have just remained silent. Like they always do.

This point should be raised in PIL. They are accepting the issue but Since it's not their life ,they are totally neglecting students concern.
How could they even expect to someone write exam when having breathlessness, feverish
And this is why probably they have removed the release from their site.
Probably because they quickly realised how tone deaf that Press release was.@AureliusM why did they remove?
So either they are going to postpone it or will probably face a major legitimacy crisis.
