bhai how one gets blue tick/green tick here on forum?

Frankly I don't know. I think blue tick is given to top contributors and whom one can follow and ask doubts. I used to reply to many and had created some threads. (Just like Twitter)

Green tick to those who have cleared the exam. Red tick for technical people.

(If I'm not wrong)

P.S: spelling mistake in tag.

Hi Guys, can you suggest about IYB, how important is it and can I skip it. I was thinking of doing some imp. Chapters, if anyone can tell me what all chapters are most relevant, that will be super helpful, Thanks a ton!

bhai maine toh ajtk nahi padi, aur jo padh ke jate hai unhe bhi kuch khas extra marks late nahi dekha! So trust me, you can skip it! Do multiple revisions of your common books and CA.

If you have mrunal notes, in his pillar 6 he has made tables for every ministry and its program. Uska pillar 6 padh lo, ho jayega IYB bhi tumhara cover.

p.s. his handout/book is divided in 6 pillars/parts. and 6th pillar is of some 60 70 pages!

@HotBloodPrince

Have you read mrunal handout before or just doing revision ? Its  600 pages, how to complete that for pre in that short period of time ?

Hi.

I had seen all lectures in Feb and read pillar 1 2 3 at that time. Had some memory of lectures but mostly it felt completely new for pillar 4 5 6.

But yeah had no choice. So it had to be done.

P.s. big as long as it is not done. Once it is done it's just good memories. 😊😊

@Raillife  passive study can be done.......... Once every thing is done/ you have completed economy & its CA part from any source, you  can go for selective reading directly from handout. you can turn the pages in a day.......

even i have planned similarly if economy gave a nightmare........ lets see :)

true par 1 base source hona chaie

maine last year mrunal kara tha but ab samaj nhi arrha kya karu

Have mostly been a silent spectator here but I am badly struggling with my studies, so will try posting and see how much I am really doing.

The plan for next 3 days is to finish Laxmikant revision and Vision Supplementary document. Bonus would be Vision Polity and Governance papers.

24/08/2020 Targets:

1. Parliament, Parliamentary Committees, State Legislature, Constitutional and Non-constitutional bodies Revise

2. Science and Envt CA from Vision Supplementary CA

3. Tests 1 and 2 Vision Revise

This has been a disaster as I was fearing. Could only complete Parliament and Committees plus some Constitutional Bodies. I attempted Vision Test 9, have only gone through half the solutions.

I will try to push and maybe atleast go through the solutions completely before sleeping.

Overall, not at all confident with Ancient, Art and Culture plus Current Affairs. In fact I am so worried about forgettig static that disproportionate time going into it and current is lacking.

Plan for 25/08/20

1. Attempt Vision Test 10 and go through its solutions properly

2. Supplementary CA - complete the remaining part, which is pretty much the entire booklet

3. Rivers + Mountains + Passes mapping

4. Backlog catchup from today

Question for others: How do you guys utilise the test solutions, do you read it or go back to the textbooks. I have given a lot of tests and even read solutions and tried to look at my mistakes, but I lack consolidation and suddenly I don't see how to really utilize the test solutions properly.

YES............if not it can endanger minimum 25 questions...........

Any basic source from where you are reading.........(do it minimum) then switch to questions directly.

if you solve 500 economy questions & revise i can tell you nothing will be left...............

Brother made his seminal foray into the clique of feeding the kid on the study table. His choice was the more palatable and considerably less nutritious wai-wai noodles.

Catching the wind of the smoodle-oodle, the said kid proceeded to make Omu Rice for everyone in the house.

Which predictably, no one but she ate.

Hello, people!

I have been reluctant to post on this thread earlier.

Yesterday night, I spent a good half an hour going through the posts posted by fellow aspirants and the way they have been incorporating their previous day's learnings into their following day's schedule. Forty days away from Prelims, I think I have to dive right in!

25/08/20: To start off, I will allocate today's time to Environment and Polity in the ratio 70:30.

Review 24/8

Wasted Golden hour, then I was always chasing my general daily routine. Missed 2 shifts by significant margin and then gave up in 3rd shift. 4 5 chaps of lakshmi from prez to parliament. Consider this as off day.

25/8

*Focus to remain on effort.

Shift 1: Lakshmi part 3, 4, 10, judiciary.

Shift2: envt ca jun'19 to sept 19

Shift 3: T 19 vision

P.s. test roj reh jata hai, aj sabse pehle test hi kar lete hai.😠
