EWS JUDGEMENT doubts?

Here are some basic doubts:

1. As far as I know, all 5 judges agreed that economic criteria as a sole basis for reservation is not violative of basic structure. This is opposite to Indira Sawhney judgement. So how could a 5 judge verdict overule 9 judge bench verdict?
