"Ek aisi bhi 'Kaum-unity' hai iss desh me jisne na diye jalaye na, mobile flashlight.Accha hi hai, sankat ke samay hi asliyat saamne aati hai"
Next, yesterday's event was merely symbolic show of solidarity. How has it helped the migrants walking all the way to their home states? or even the health professionals for that matter? Yes, symbolic solidarity is important too. But last time we were clapping and banging thalis, doctors and nurses were shunned away from their rental accommodations. Air India staff faced similar crisis. Also, social media is full of medical professionals begging for safety equipment, something as basic as a mask. HOW HAS YESTERDAY'S EVENT MADE A DIFFERENCE?
And while we engage in theatrics, let us not demonize those who don't. PERIOD.
"But in a way it is good for the nation, now we just have to wait and watch. The ticking time bomb has got a new momentum." Are you serious? Are you suggesting and even hoping for communal clashes? New Momentum. Great. Are you sure you'll be an impartial public servant?
We maintain a balanced opinion not because we are aspirants but because we are highly qualified citizens who can look beyond the apparent. I initially decided to overlook your outrageous comments, but then I got reminded of a very wonderful teacher and letting you go would have been an insult to him.

Yes, the idiots who came together at Nizamuddin must be condemned and they must be punished. However, where are you getting this data of one "kaum-unity" not participating in yesterday's activity? If this is your personal experience from yourneighborhood, then sorry friend but that's inadequate data. In mylocality, people from all communitiesparticipated.Next, yesterday's event was merely symbolic show of solidarity. Very well said.
Kudos to your thinking.
But what I felt while reading this was that it was ‘You’ who saw this through a communal lens. Maybe the guy who mentioned the word “kaum-unity” didn’t tried to target any specific community and “Kaum-unity” over here are those people who don’t even belong to humanity, forget about any religion/community.
For eg, it was in news recently that at some place two Doctors were chased down when they went to treat the patients and ask the infected ones to quarantine. At other place, nurses were abused, shown vulgar signs, asked for bidis and cigarettes. After seeing all this, i think calling such people ‘Humans’ won’t be a good thing. And if it all they are humans, they would be the insane ones(mentally unstable).
Another example, the speech quoted below is of Additional Chief Secretariat of UP which means that he is an IAS officer and even he must have been such an aspirant as you mentioned and have read all the subjects and topics that we study. Even he must have had or is having the compassion towards common people, love towards the country and the inner-fire to work for the people. Among all other things, he is an educated person, educated enough to distinguish between right and wrong. Despite of all this, he endorsed UP CM’s thought. Do let me know who are ‘Ye’ that Yogiji is talking about?
[“ Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi attributed the di rection to Chief Minister Yo gi Adityanath.
“Ye na kanoon ko ma- nenge, na vyavastha ko ma- nenge, ye manavta ke dush- man hai... [They don’t follow the law or The system, they are enemies of human ity],”Mr. Awasthi said in an official WhatsApp group quoting Mr. Adityanath.]
I completely agree with whatever you said but I felt that this made the other guy placed in a bad limelight. I personally believe that none of the aspirants would like to be called or viewed as communal beings. I’m just trying to bridge that little gap which was created. Peace✌

Agree. Earlier I used to get disturbed by these communal mindsets. Then, watched the movie "Jojo Rabbit". I started seeing the funnier side to this.
Will recommend to watch it.
For a nation not fully equipped to fight this disaster, these little moments are a sign of hope amidst dark times. Banging thalis or lighting diyas gave people what spitting on doctors & spreading this virus can never give.
I may be wrong about my locality but for those who really wish to see around the nation have seen the true face of a Kaum-unity. Banging thali was not that noticeable. But intentionally not turning your lights off was something which people 'saw' & 'felt'.
Being an impartial civil servant & behaving like an ostrich are two different things.
So-called religious congregation defied the Visa rules & government orders on lockdown and these people want betterment of the nation!
They belonged to the most literate state in India, studied engineering & later fought for ISIS, along with their wives!
Literacy, Education, Understanding (common sense) are all different things.
Ab tumne ye likha hai toh tum communal hogaye bhai, stamp lag jata hai forum par agar aapne galat ko galat kaha, gaddar ko gaddar bol diya., aankh band kar lo, sar neeche jhuka lo, jo ye bole wahi sach hai warna aap intolerant ho. Khush karna chaiye hame inko, thookne ka comptetion karao, kaun kitne logo me corona failyega, kitna desh ka naash karega Corona-Fidayeens banke.
370, 3-T, CAA, Ram Mandir sabka dard nikal hi raha tha Shaheen Bagh me ki ye kambhakt Corona faila diya Modi aur Trump ne! ye Afwa hai.
@tuckerbudzyn You must decide whether that symbolism was important or it was just theatrics. There is a strong contradiction in your reply. You must not be confused in your approach or need to balance when your intent is to criticize the efforts of 79.8% of people.

DRDO, Indian Railways, other PSUs working day & night to manufacture products for our medical industry. Medical professionals getting health cover, people generously donating in PM-CARES.

You may want to consider that people doing a certain thing cannot be given religious identity. For example would you say, when Kanika Kataria got sick and infected others, would you say hindu girls are infecting people?
Except the hindu newspaper, no other newspaper reported that one of the people attacked by the mob in MP was a lady doctor, a Muslim. And being a Muslim she was not dealt softly by attacking groups.
For those who miss the Park, our only park :'(
Very few people, leaves all around & thoughtful silence. (5/4/20)
I have sweet memories of this place. It was here I first met a few people. Have walked on these pathways like a zillion times.
My house was in first block, top floor. Very airy. Could see Gurudwara from there.

Totally agree. Suppressing someone doesn't help, it would only make them rebel without any reason. Having said that, the religion definitely needs to be reformed because most people follow religion knowingly or unknowingly, if there is no reform similar things would happen in future too. It was good to see some serving and retired bureaucrats calling people to support government and society. I hope similar lead is taken in reforms too. Though, anyone taking lead would be strongly opposed but Rajaram mohan Roy, Ambedkar, Tilak, Jyotiba Phule, Gandhi ji and many others also faced that.
@Nikita Ain't you giving this a religious identity? Kanika Kapoor is a person & Jamat or people who didn't take part in the event we're not 'just' few people, they were not exceptions but a whole community! There is a difference between wrong done by a person & lots of people from a community.
Why 'people' from specific communities & in specific areas hid those suspects? Why they thrashed the officials not just in one city but MANY cities around India?
They are spiting on doctors, roaming naked in front nurses, passing lewd remarks, defecating openly in hospitals, in spite of this people of their community are trying to hide them in their areas!
This country has been ignoring the foolishness of one community for quite long in the name of their backwardness. There are more uneducated amongst Hindus if we go by numbers but they are not resisting or spiting on doctors.
You don't need to be literate or know Quantum physics to abide by the law or to be humane. Showing genitals & mocking the already overburdened staff is a crime against humanity.
As I said, you have to look beyond Ravish Kumar & Co. to know the ground reality.
