When i read the title few days back, i though it was just for geology and forestry people and didn't even open the link. Today I just happened to browse more and found out that it was for all aspiring for forest services , and not just the ones with geology and forestry.

1) Name the method of thinning that best promotes genetic improvement besides controlling density .

2) Variations practised in silvicultural system of shorea robusta in up, Bihar , odisha and WB.

1. I guess it is very heavy thinning or D Grade thinning which is a type of ordinary thinning.

2.need to revise this part

3. Because alpha crops or the ellite crops need to be selected from the beginning and proper spacing needs to be done. Along with that undergrowth needs to be removed.
