Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@Caesar
kash ki mama 10 seat aur jeet jate MP election me to shayad aaj hamara result pehle hi aa gaya hota.....
@Blazeit will open Pandoras box for other exams in future. Every exam except few has these cut off date rule, one can't fault administration entirely for the delay. I personally know few petiotiiner who didn't know about the cut off date till daf submission. They applied after cut off date and got it early. Few cases may be genuine, but most are not.
@rahulku049014689Forest is also in litigation.
@ShubzWith railways having a separate exam next year onwards, vacancies will decrease further. I am seriously thinking of doing something else if I don't clear this time.
@kochikaamewhat other options r u planning?i already worked in IT and have no intentions going back to it.
@Omencommission could have acted proactively and take earlier hearing date in december....they only came in action after new yr and preponed hearing frm 16th to 6th.
@ShubzDo the petitioners get to ask the courts to ask for an early hearing ?
i might be ignorant hence asking
@Omen
Yes, and early hearing did take place on 6th jan, which was also the final hearing. CAT has reserved the order and can come today or tomorrow. DoPT had to submit one document which was submitted on 7th. So, everyone is waiting for CAT order as of now.
@Shubzwill probably look up for a job first and then maybe MBA in future. I am not getting into IT for sure. I've worked in the consulting industry for sometime and also done an internship in a wealth management firm. Would try my hand there if possible.
@kochikaamehow to get a job after considerable job and no skills plus no experience?
@DKTthanks brother for this insight..it was interesting helpful and creative
Give insight abt socio also whnevr u feel free
All the best
@Ms-dhoniwell I haven't decided to go down that path yet. But incase you wish to do that, learn some skill which might be useful for whichever industry you want to work in. Starting might be difficult but you'll grow over the yeard if you learn. Baaki depends a lot on which industry you want to work in. Would be great if you have some contacts as well.
@TETRACYCLINEsaid inMains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread:
sahi me is bar thoda state pcs jaisa feel krarha
the pain will be over for those who finally get selected baki logo ke liye ek ek din costly prove hoga
mai to job me hu to lgtahai job ke bina tyari krni chaihiye fully focussed hoke
Bhai, I will strongly recommend against it. If you manage with your job then please don't quit.
UPSC ka koi bharosa nahi hain. Kuch bhi karne lage hain aaj kal. Random papers, unpredictable interviews and out of syllabus questions have become the norm of UPSC in these past few years. Civil Services has become much more luck based than merit based in recent years, jisme topper ko bhi pata nahi uska selection hoga ki nahi. There were even proposals to include FC marks in allocation of services. PMO ne bhi interfere karna start kar dia hain. Seats aur kam ho rahi hain due to railways.
Matlab bhai kya kya kare hum log ?
