Mains 2021: Doubt and strategy discussion thread

I don't know what to say, really. Prelims is over. The discussion as regards the authenticity of answer keys is the most futile discussion. So, I am creating this thread as a necessary and much-needed diversion. Three months to the biggest battle of our professional lives begins now. All comes down to how we heal and grow from now on, and either, we heal or we're gonna crumble. Day by day

We're in a toxic environment right now, fellas. Believe me. And, we can stay here, get the s**t kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. Mains is the road ahead for everyone of us notwithstanding our current predicament. So, let's continue to fight and not let our guard down.

Yours faithfully
AzadHindFauz

Are Atul Garg Sir's Ethics lectures available on Youtube? If not, where can I join?

About that booklet, I was thinking that since Ethics is such a subjective topic, should I just view Atul sir's lecture series and study from another book for perspective enhancement say from like ForumIAS red book, chronicle, Arihant etc.  or I should limit myself to materials provided by Atul sir only?

@whatonly  Thanks and Same to you.
Proper expression itself is Culturally relativistic. Until there is a code if conduct, can't say anything. For example saying "WTF" in one culture/group may be okay and may not be okay in another group/culture.
Before commenting, one should try understand the views of others through the eyes of their culture/group rather than your fixed frame of mind. Everything in universe can only be quantified relatively.

@whatonly I think the one you are talking about must be class notes.

He has another set of booklets, they are printed ones. Most of the content from printed books is discussed in the class and class notes serve the purpose. However, certain topics like applied ethics, etc you will have to read from book. He even mentions it in his class.

There is another printed booklet for case studies.
Both of them are available on telegram. I am unable to attach files here. Check Civils mathan group and type orient ias.. You will find the printed notes.

Thank you! I think your username should be Iamthebest. :P

@SergioRamos I'd personally choose Atul Garg classes + material.
Picking up another book would take comparatively more time than doing his notes. Also you don't have to read his printed notes cover to cover. A major part of it is covered in class. Only some topics will have to be done from the printed ones.

It's better to invest time in writing answers/solving case studies than reading from multiple sources.

@whatonly but you will not find some of the case studies he discusses in class in these notes. They are some other notes which he gives in class or something like that. I could not find them anywhere.
Nevertheless the notes explain well how to go about case studies.

@Joeyisthebest Okay! Btw, I was just reading Arihant ethics book and seems like it is authored by atul garg even though it does not have his name on it(Mohit sharma and sujith kumar). His teaching and the content in the book has a significant overlap!
