Mains 2021: Doubt and strategy discussion thread

I don't know what to say, really. Prelims is over. The discussion as regards the authenticity of answer keys is the most futile discussion. So, I am creating this thread as a necessary and much-needed diversion. Three months to the biggest battle of our professional lives begins now. All comes down to how we heal and grow from now on, and either, we heal or we're gonna crumble. Day by day.

We're in a toxic environment right now, fellas. Believe me. And, we can stay here, get the s**t kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. Mains is the road ahead for everyone of us notwithstanding our current predicament. So, let's continue to fight and not let our guard down.

On the surface,@Patootie celebrating the anniversary.
Deep down,@Patootie is preparing Indian society for GS 1 by analysing modern relationships in the current Indian societal milieu and its impact on modern nuclear and joint families! :P

One suggestion I'd like to put up here. Let us keep this thread for GS only!
See, the thing is, with a wide spectrum of optionals, this thread will essentially diverge a lot and won't achieve much. If we keep it for GS only, we can have a straight purpose and maximum reach!

Has Neyawn written any article earlier on the preparation phase between Pre and Mains ? I am unable to find any in the blog. I find his articles very useful to get hold of the 'philosophy' behind any stage of preparation. Please share if anybody has any link. Thanks !

Can you, if you have some time, enlighten me on what AWFG exactly is ? pros cons et al.

Hi all , a so called newbie here. Have been a silent observer for sometime now. I have not attempted this year with my ongoing finals but I am diving in for mains writing in a week with exams ending since '21 is my target.

I haven’t actually been part of AWFG but I’ve heard good things about them. There was @Neyawn’s post a while ago, where he mentions a topper going through AWFG solutions to revise just before mains since they were short and to the point. Personally, I dislike the exhaustive 1000 word MGP solutions even though I understand it’s for people who learn about the whole topic from therein.

This is my first mains. Can someone please help with a few things

1- Is Mains 365 enough for current topics or should I join any CA classes too. I have heard about Dipin Sir's CA classes are also good.

2- How to complete certain extra topics of mains- like google their definitions, meaning and read few of the top articles that come up, then look for that topic in Mains 365 and read CA, this is it?

Please help.
