Political Science guys...how is the josh ? Systems approach bhi 3 type ki hai (easton, wallerstein aur Kaplan ki...kal hi pata chala)

Structural functional approach is also a systems approach dude also political culture , political modernisation. So it’s more than 3 😂😂

IMO , I don’t think you should stress about it , apart from wallerstein and Easton , independent approach as a question is less probable. You might use the others as passing references , like political culture for voter turnout and structal functional in political parties and pressure group answers

Not to mention the panic if you’re revising Shubhra Mam notes . Too lengthy

also, don't confuse IR with comparitive politics

easton is CP, kaplan is IR. Wallerstein is kind of both i think

कुछ ठलवे लोग यूपीएसएस नही देते, बस बैठकर शोध करते हैं और नए नए आयामों का सृजन , जिनसे हम जैसे नादान इनको पढ़ते रहें, याद करते रहें ।

I have Wallerstein wala as Instrumentalist under Marxism in IR theories and Kaplan under Systems theory, then David Easton in Comparative

Have to go over again IPT because I’ve only studied it in passing so far and maybe a quick look at the multitude of scholars we have in Sec B :/

And, will take notes to revise Sec B of Paper 2 tomorrow in the break (productivity level: pro max ultra and POV: very underprepared)

If you’re having any difficulty with the scholars view, just write the analysis. Should be enough to get you marks , this is what Shubhra Mam emphasised in class

Meaning write own analysis?

In all the GS papers bar Ethics, 80% paper could have been attempted with NCERT+ the usual suspects. Par nahi, jabtak "value add" nahi karenge to intellectual kaise banenge?
At many points it feels as if I am the one willingly refusing to get selected. :/

Yes following the general thought of an analyst. Like CRM generally gives a realist view, while Happymon Jacob focuses on social contructivist analysis, or criticises the present approach

Same!! Really drives home the point of restricting our sources and focusing on revision and answer writing.

I *feel* our own arguments as long as they are relevant, logical and informed are better than flooding the answer with scholar opinions anyway.
