Lol. Same.Thread kaafi shaant sa ho gya hai. I hope everyone is fine from any post-exam covid symptoms.
By the way, how are you guys spending time??
@SergioRamos@LetsGetThisBread@HeNeArKr@peterparker@sjerngal@D503@Villanelle@KingSlayer23Also watched a complete ODI game after ages and guess what…we didn’t even win 🥲
What has happened to middle order !!!
Keeps collapsing
Idk man 😭😭 its all over 90s again
Koi counter attack krne wala hi nhi h. Sudden 2 wickets nd ye rone lgte h.
Perhaps for the first time,Koi stable middle order hi nhi h. Har series m naye log utha k le aate h middle order k liye.
No one is assured of their place in the middle order. Last year when Pant got injured Rahul was keeping and was being looked up as middle order player despite being an opener in his whole career. Then after a stellar test series Pant got his place back. Moreover, back problems of Hardik Pandya has also been a issue.
@KingSlayer23 Don’t you find ODIs boring these days?
Nah…it’s been my favourite format since ages…I’m a millennial
Even I like the ODIs. But I feel under Kohli test cricket has become more interesting 😛

well he built the team in his own image and I feel there is a lack of natural leadership after him. I’m not sure KL Rahul will be that indispensable player himself who will be the long term leader. Like when Dhoni was getting old we all could see the natural leader emerging in Virat…now there is a massive vacuum. I think we as Indian fans should expect a period of slump before things fully settle
Totally agreed. Bumrah could have been a better choice for captain. He seems to be a better reader of game than KL.
Bumrah , shreyas Iyer .
For now, Rohit could lead for some time,as kumble did in 2008.
Also ,i don't feel Kohli was a natural leader. He was a top batsman ( not sure if he is now ), but not a good leader.
Kohli was never a better tactician but a leader who showed intensity to win. As a captain he suffered from short term memory loss because he changed and chopped the 11 every now and then. Never backed a player. Preferring Shankar over Rayudu. Then no signs of KulCha after 2019 WC. Ignored Bhuvi in tests.
Even in tests we don’t have settled opening pair.
In the recent past I think atleast 6-7 combinations have been tried.
There seems to be a LARGGGE difference between IPL and Big Bash too.
In Big Bash local Australian players play more along with cricketers of bygone era. The Sr. Australian team does not take wholeheartedly part. For eg. Ashes and BBL were going on in parallel.
In IPL, all Mega-stars play and compete with local Ranji boys and improve their prospects in the Sr. Team.
BBL has an educatice value while IPL has a competitive value.
And BBL is more innovative than IPL. I feel BBL is for cricket lovers while IPL is for betting and drama.
@Duryodhan The similarity between Tendulkar, kohli and kl is they are fantastic as batsman but utterly incompetent as captain. Infact i very strongly feel it was wrong to naturally bring kohli as captain after dhoni when rohit as a senior player was there. Atleast some testing must have been done. This mr virat "captain by chance" kohli and his alcohol loving friend shastri have ruined India's records in international cricket no doubt as seen from this leadership's failure in bagging any championship success at international level. Infact like shastri, kohli must also be given some rest, he is " surplus" in a team filled with real talent.
Rohit was having below par career and was not a team regular till 2013 champions trophy. At that time Kohli appeared to be a natural choice for captain.
He has a stellar record as a captain and a player but the issue is he did not focus on nurturing players. Thus the chaos which we are witnessing today.
