@KatsumotoWouldn't be surprised. Elections over and UPSC is conducting a separate exam for Railways services. IRAS, IRTS gone! Not to forget the emphasis on lateral entry. This exam is going to get tougher and hence, more random.

@walterwhit3areh yaar. its just becoming absurd now. as if the supply and demand equation of this exam wasn't fucked up already. in 2019 i decided to prepare for this - since then lateral entry, EWS, 10% weightage to foundation course, and now this. haven't even given an attempt yet but already doubting myself. if this happens, even qualifying prelims is going to be exponentially difficult let alone making it to the final list.

Given the randomized nature of 2019 paper, cracking prelims with lower seatswould become really difficult. For now, we can leave it to the official notification and dive into prep even more seriously.
