@STBhai humara nahi hua.I was 100% confident of atleast clearing mains so it came asshock.Mylearnings:
1)Optional must have been ok as questions came directly from 1500 page notes and quoted thinkers and examples in all answers(kabir singh movie,cds report,dove ka ad etc)
2)Essay was decent.Jitne lagaye the usse +-10 aaya hoga.
3)What killed me was gs.I have'nt done any answer writing for gs as my marks in gs were decent in 2017 with nowriting.Sobelieved it will work this time as well.But I think -10 in each gs paper due to lack of writing practise(but finished all papers) and not being able to revise books like spectrum between pre and mains and focusing too much on current affairs.-50 is the result combining all gs papers.
4)Essay mein -10 raha hoga from what I expected.
Overall -60 raha hoga.I expected +60 from cutoff(expected it close to 760).Between 750-760 aaya hoga agar cutoff 760 hoga.
I m not intended on giving the exam again but let's see.
The mantra if I give again is to do lot of answer writing between pre and mains(already has notes of current from 2016 mugged) and revise basic books between pre and mains.
Par kya pata ans. writing se hoga kya.Underline ki thi answers mein,points mein saare likhe the,paper complete kiye the but no flowcharts and diagrams.
Lagta hai 1500 page ke notes waste ho gaye.Pura ignou ka ba aur ma padha tha.

@HermioneGrangerI have seen people joining answer writing post pre and clearing the exam.thus is it ideal to practise ans writing for around 2 months only?

After mourning for 1 day I have decided:
My edu background is good but I do not wish to go in private sector as have come from there.
So for the meantime will join a small private firm which will give time for studies.
Will give other govt. Exams with this job (have already done cat so aptitude isn't a problem) and will also prepare for upsc as base for upsc has been built.I couldn't get selected this time as I had content but 0 ans writing practise and not revising static books like spectrum between pre and mains.Socio to theek hai.
2020 mein umeed hai koi to govt exam nikal jayega (umeed pe duniya kaayam hai) fir I will leave this private job and will prepare for upsc with that govt. Job.
Preparing without job is very risky I have realized..Many of my seniors prepared full time but couldn't clear.Unka base ban gaya tha then they were able to clear with job.
Kaafi logon se aisa kiya like megha arora.

@ManchesterUnitedAfter mourning and shock I analysed what went wrong despite me finishing all papers,having readymade notes and questions coming directly from my notes..
I believe the single gravest mistake I did was not doing answer writing.I knew a lot in most of the answers which I turned into 7-8 points in majority of answers.Isko karne ke chakkar mein I started question from point 1 and ended at point 8 with no intro and conclusion.

Har paper mein 20 question mein 10 mark bhi gaya hoga(0.5 mark for intro and conclusion) 60 marks kam ho gaye honge.Wohi le doobe....
