[ Official ] How was the Prelims 2021 paper?

@Philip_Marlowe Nice research, but this is classic example of what happens when you don't read the research paper fully and just look for what you want out of it. In this paper, they have mentioned study where they have taken the fe2+ solution to form magnetic nano particles in the domestic microwave oven.

@BhallaRobert I think what upsc intended to check was, whether candidates know that most of copper ores are sulphur based and not carbonate based. And to make sure, that candidates don't take it otherwise and get confused, they consciously mentioned the word lethal amount there. This is exactly what they have done in the indus river question as well.

@prachimalik1121311 lethal is something that can directly threaten the life of people in the vicinity of the pollutant emitting industry. But i believe ultimately it is upsc which can decide on this matter as they have to release the results.

@prachimalik1121311 The simplest logic is copper ore is mainly pyrites, which is sulphur based. There can be emission of CO, no doubt but largely emission of SO2 will be the concern. Rest all depends on upsc.

@Denisovan2019 and then nobody would be able to say anything. UPSC, supreme court se bhi badi body hai , jahan koi review petition nahin lagti. 😅

@oopsie it is mobile tower and not the telephone line. If one is hell bent on finding something on google, he will definitely find it irrespective of whether that is truth or just a figment of fake news.
