Do u guys think that this decision can affect the prelims date ?
1. I want to know if there is any source for all the solved Previous Year Prelims questions. Atleast last 20-24 yrs (except for the Disha Publication wala book)
2. How many total number of tests were there in Forum's Prelims test series 2020 ? 35 test or 45 tests ? And all the tests contained 50 questions ?
3. Between Forum IAS's Prelims 2020 test series and GS Score's Prelims 2020 test series, which one would you recommend and why?
4. For covering ancient history anybody referring to Tamil Nadu School Books of Class 11 ? if Yes, are you studying the new editions or the old ones?
5. for Culture part...apart from Introduction to Fine Arts (NCERT)...what other source are you referring to ? Nitin Singhania's book is extremely vast
Kinly help
Thank you Guys!!

I completely support this movement. And I really hope everyone on Forum also send a mail at the given ids.
This was my last attempt but the present situation and the accompanying turmoil has badly affected all plans and peace of mind.
Apart from having much more added responsibilities in the house, the entire family was in quarentine till the last week and in the middle of Corona, Bengal had to face the wrath of the Cyclone Amphan where we had to move from one place to another like refugees and there was no electricity, no water, no mobile tower and ofcourse, no internet for close to 2 weeks.
These are not excuses but the reality.
And it is a little difficult to concentrate under such situation.
Also the situation in Bengal is spinning out of control quite rapidly and under such circumstances, it wont be fair to ask us to choose between appearing for the exam (and hence risking our life in the crowd) and safety ( and letting go of our last chace).
People like us, for whom this is the last attempt, don't really have the luxury of skipping this year's attempt.
Incase the govt doesnt budge, we should (every single one of us) push for compensatory attempts. I hope everyone agrees on this point atleast, that all our daily study routine and preparation has got badly affected...everything went for a toss with Corona and on top of that, floods, cyclones, etc.
Bihar polls & Tamil Nadu polls are coming up.
Huge number of aspirants appear for UPSC CSE from these states every year. If we try hard, maybe they will grant us compensatory attempts keeping the polls in mind.
@nagendra upsc would go for 2nd option only !! It's now up to us last attempters to decide.. what if upsc refuse to give attempt in future ?? 😢
If UPSC does nt came with any notification we will have to appear b'coz no options will be left before ous.
In this way the whole purpose will get defeted of giving an extra attemp to candidates like ous . If things came before the exam many candidates will leave the exam it will certainly help in mantaining SOP for the benifits of the appearing candidates .
The ASG himself use expedite , I wonder with the careless attitute of upsc regarding this.
Also I believe the term "expedite" was used to indicate that the clarification from UPSC should come before 4th October.
This is very disappointing.
