@yraj38 in Q14 maybe statement 2 is wrong because the statement says "decentralisation ofadministrativepowers" ... And not "legislative powers" ..

Anyone who has attended the discussion in SFG kindly shed some light please.

Test3 Q14

@Thinker can you please elaborate a bit on Essentiality Doctrine that is mentioned in the question. Is it the same as Doctrine of Essential Religious Practises ?

@Anonymous00 Majority of all the then members = Effective majority = Majority of  (Filled seats - Vacancies).

Effective majority is needed to remove all presiding officers like Speaker and Dy Speaker in LS, Chairman and Dy Chairman in RS.

Laxmikanth 4th edition has this typo error.. it read "absolute majority" ...it was corrected in the 5th edition ..

See the bare act..all these articles read .. "majority of all thethen member " ..

@mickeyviru No. Only Supreme Court and High Courts have power to punish for contempt of court.

For the contempt of a district court, High Court has the power to punish.

And Supreme Court has the power to punish for contempt of any court in india.

Test 16 Q39

In the official answer key statement 2 is marked incorrect.

Didn"t the govt pass Sikh Gurudwara Act, 1922 to pacify the akalis and trasfer the management of gurudwaras from corrupt mahants to the public ?

@Thinker some clarity on this would be helpful.

@mickeyviru Rank is available at the link from where you took the test. I guess they are not publishing it like a list as earlier. You can see it from where you must have accessed the test.

This is a simple appreciation post for all Forum team members who have been working behind the scenes for making the SFG possible in these troubled times. The world is facing a pandemic, country is under a lockdown, life is uncertain, and still you guys manage to put the questions daily at 7 in the morning. Thank you. Means a lot.

@Neyawn Sir, I am fortunate enough to have my house in Delhi only so I moved back home. But I have friends who are still there and they tell me things are tough but they are managing. My friends are cooking on their own. Everytime they leave the room to get the vegetables, they walk a bit fast, maintain distance and live under the fear of contracting the virus. Shops have queues but not sure about the 7AM thing. Anyway, going home, shifting, with all the books and paraphernalia was just not an option for them. So everyone.s hanging in there.

Thank you once again, Sir.

@Neyawn Sir, please don.t mind me asking this here, but why are Simulators priced so highly?

I really wanted to join but the 7k price tag is acting as a bit of a deterrent..

@Thinker @root The portal is showing the following tests as "Exam Ended" instead of the "Review Result" tab. I had given these tests in the normal stipulated time in Discipline Mode and got the results as well. The name is there in the Ranklist as well. Till yesterday everything was fine but today this issue arose. Even some more tests that I had given in stipulated time at 7AM are shown as "Exam Ended" . Kindly look into this as due to this I can.t check what answers I marked and what all mistakes I made. Thankyou.

Test 3, Question 35

Which of the following statements regarding Motion of Thanks is/are correct?

1. The first session after each general election and the first session of each year is addressed by the President of India.

2. Defeat of Motion of Thanks in either house of Parliament amounts to collapse of the

government.

Select the correct answer using the code below.

a 1 only
b 2 only
c Both 1 and 2
d Neither 1 nor 2

Shouldn't statement 1 be wrong as it's not "first session of each year" but rather "first session of each fiscal year" ?

Also for statement 2,@Thinker Sir, in one of the classes, you mentioned that defeat of Motion of Thanks does not directly amount to collapse of government as in no-confidence motion. Rather it's like an act of censure and the government has to bring a confidence motion to show it's majority. Is this the correct line of thought?
