What is the status of Himalayan brown bear? Wiki showing it LC but some other websites showing it vulnerable and endangered.
I have read a statement " it's endangered in Himalayas and CE in Hindu Kush"
What one could decipher from it?
Iucn status of brown bear is least concern as per iucnredlist.org... Yes, it is endangered in some places but on a whole it is least concern and it's population is stable as per the official iucn website.
Does anybody have complete details regarding - Under what Provisions/Laws/Rules can Internet be suspended and who are the authorities who can effect such suspensions?
Can recollect IT Act and Sec 144? Anything else? And any timelines for which the suspensions can remain?
IT Act sec 69 is used to ban apps etc
Telegraph Act is used to ban internet as a whole in area
Anyone know a good mnemonic/memory trick to remember the capitals of all the "stans" in Central Asia.....??
Uzbekistan - Tashkent. I try to remember it using L.B Shastri and Tashkent files
Kazhakstan - Astana - Rakesh Astana - an infamous cop in the news xP
This works for me 😂 Sounds entirely stupid as I write it. Hope it helps :')

You're going to need a new trick.
Astana's name got changed to Nursultan a few years back. Nursultan is also the name of their 'ruler' :P
This is more of a trick to remember which capital corresponds to which country, rather than remembering the names.
Remember Turkmenistan - Ashgabat ( Turk - Ash sounds similar to Turkish)
Then put the remaining countries and capitals in alphabetical order respectively. They'll correspond.
Kazakhstan - Astana
Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek
Tajikistan - Dushanbe
Uzbekistan - Tashkent
Edit: I saw @Archand's comment only after I posted. You'll need to substitute Nur Sultan for Astana afterwards. To help remember this, I'm imagining Rakesh Astana sitting on a throne like a Sultan :P
