I too gussed this, Padma wala stuff but cancelled because I thought its more like hindu name then why would mughals keep it?

True. It's a Sanskrit word. Never heard of its admiration during mughals except for the Dhrupad song where syllables were Sanskrit.
Last year's question on "HUNDI" was directly picked from Medieval India's Old NCERT- Page 259 and was also one of the terms given in the exercise at the end of every chapters..
Anyway, doesn't matter now. Wish I had known all this maybe 2 months ago..
