PSIR Lens takes what happened, sets out the record from primary sources, locates it on the UPSC PSIR syllabus by paper, part and topic, and works it through the framework and the counter-argument that apply.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <h3>What PSIR Lens is<\/h3>\n  <p>Most current-affairs material for the optional stops at summary. A speech is listed, a statute is announced, and the aspirant is left to guess which part of the syllabus it belongs to and which thinker to reach for. PSIR Lens closes that distance.<\/p>\n  <p>Each entry begins with the syllabus line it serves, quoted from the Commission&#8217;s own wording. It then gives the record: official releases rather than newspaper glosses, statutes cited by section, judgments by their reported citation. Only then does the theory arrive, and it arrives with the attribution checked against the original book or paper rather than against a coaching note.<\/p>\n  <p>Every entry closes with an answer frame: the structure of a 15-marker, and shorter variants, set out as headings a student can lift into a practice answer.<\/p>\n\n  <h3>How each entry is built<\/h3>\n  <div class=\"hub-steps\">\n    <div class=\"hub-step\"><div class=\"n\">1<\/div><b>Syllabus first<\/b><span>The paper, part and topic are identified before a word is written, and the Commission&#8217;s clause is quoted. No invented heads.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div class=\"hub-step\"><div class=\"n\">2<\/div><b>The record<\/b><span>PIB releases, the Gazette, Constituent Assembly Debates, reported judgments. Where outlets differ on wording, the official text governs and the divergence is noted.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div class=\"hub-step\"><div class=\"n\">3<\/div><b>The framework<\/b><span>The theory that actually explains the event, with the publisher and year of the first edition, and the counter-argument stated as strongly as the argument.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div class=\"hub-step\"><div class=\"n\">4<\/div><b>The answer frame<\/b><span>A 15-mark skeleton and shorter variants, written as structure, plus the points of precision that separate an accurate answer from an approximate one.<\/span><\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <h3>The standards each entry is held to<\/h3>\n  <div class=\"hub-std\">\n    <ul>\n      <li><b>Primary sources, or nothing.<\/b> If a claim cannot be traced to an official release, a gazetted statute, a reported judgment or the original scholarly text, it does not appear.<\/li>\n      <li><b>Statutes are read, not reported.<\/b> Section numbers are given. Where an Act has received assent but not commenced, that is stated, because the two are not the same thing.<\/li>\n      <li><b>Attributions are checked at source.<\/b> Where a distinction is commonly credited to one scholar but originates with another, both are named.<\/li>\n      <li><b>Conflicts are disclosed.<\/b> Where sources give incompatible figures, neither is asserted; the conflict is reported.<\/li>\n      <li><b>Syllabus heads are quoted, not paraphrased.<\/b> Tags carry the Commission&#8217;s wording.<\/li>\n      <li><b>Coverage, never prediction.<\/b> Recurrence in past papers is a tendency.
