Socio-Economic Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Positive:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rise of OBCs:<\/strong> Emergence of a politically powerful &#8220;Middle Peasantry&#8221; (Yadavs, Kurmis, Jats) in the Green Revolution belt.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduction in Feudalism:<\/strong> End of the oppressive Zamindari system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Persistence of Inequality:<\/strong> Landlessness remains high among SCs (Dalits) in Bundelkhand.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fragmentation:<\/strong> Average landholding size in UP has shrunk to <strong>&lt;0.73 hectare<\/strong>, making mechanization difficult.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B.
