3 Non-Continuous Mains experience with Public Administration as optional.
2020-1st mains in 1st attempt.I would call it a naive attempt.I chased studying and finishing syllabus rather than practising. It led to facing difficulties in understanding the actual demand of the question.Thus,my answers were general.With respect to Pub ad,I focused more on paper 1 as paper 2 has more of gs 2 & 3 overlap.
2024-This was the mains after doing foundation classes at forumias.Post prelims,I wrote AWFG and few MGP tests to boost confidence for papers like gs 2,gs4.
In this attempt I had Little time for consolidation of notes,thus I used foundation class notes.For CA,I did Dipin sir class and used those notes only.
Pub ad -I had previously done selective reading of Mohit battacharya and Prasad & Prasad for thinkers.I also had notes from prasad and prasad for thinkers.Thus,did Aribham for completing the syllabus and revised my own notes.Moreover,attending Forumias Public administration class(Ajeet sir) gave clarity on approaching the papers.Here,I wrote OAWFG and sought mentorship from Ajeet sir.
2026-I focused on note making post 2025 prelims as I didn't clear 2025 prelims.Enrolled in year long mgp and focused on consolidation of notes gs topic wise.
For 2026 Mains I focused on revising the notes with value addition from AWFG,MGP(was part of MFG).I also used select 50 notes for GS 3 as I had issues in delivery of my books to tapasya for MFG.
With regards to GS papers-
I focused on completing the topics in syllabus and doing CA classes(Sahil sir and Basava Sir).

I feel GS papers this year had intersectionality of themes and subjects like IR & climate change respectively.
Though there is a change in the method of asking questions in section A of gs 4,the paper demanded understanding of keywords like accountability, intergrity,administrative ethics with specificity to the asked theme.
Public administration-Paper 1 touched upon the unconventional topics like McClelland 's theory of motivation.Thus,this paper needed strong conceptual understanding and clarity.
Paper 2 - More of GS type paper. We can see clear overlap through questions on cut motion,disaster management.Questions like administrative reforms ,prakash singh guidelines were from the syllabus covered in Aribham.
