Bored of revision

When you are preparing for your 3rd attempt and have already read all the static books, how should you keep the enthusiasm to read those books again for prelims efficiently and  with interest .

Have a look at Forum IAS’s workbooks. They are offering it as a part of their Prelims revision course.

Even I am  in a kind of similar situation.

I am revising polity as of now, and to be very honest, I’m sick and tired of reading Laxmikant again and again.

So I am revising polity through that polity workbook.

The best thing I like about this workbook is  that it has got vast amount of MCQs to solve so as to cover a particular topic. They include questions from previous years as well as from the yearly basis prelims test series that they offer.

For example, if I talk about the topic Fundamental Rights, it itself is a lengthy chapter in Laxmikant. Now this above mentioned workbook has got more than 100 MCQs wrt FR topic only. So, rather than reading and revising this topic directly from the book, I am solving questions from this workbook. I am referring to the solutions of the questions which I am doing wrong and the explanations given are pretty decent as well.

So all in all, I would suggest to have a look at these workbooks. I do find them quite useful as they are helping in MCQ solving as well as in effective revision.

Hope this helps. Wishing you the best of luck! :)
