Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Good morning guys..
Without wasting any more time, targets for 9/8/21
- Indian geography revision
- Modern history- british education policy, press etc..
- Minerals in India
- November Ca 2020
- 30 que from April CA 2021
I hope today is better than the last two days. Fingers crossed.
Quite a good day today, studied for almost 9 hours.. Quite satisfied with the number of hours studied and the quality of study. Unfortunately all targets could not be completed. SFG revisions taking a lot of time than expected... Haven't even read the newspaper today and I dont feel like reading anything right now. Too tired.
On a side note, entire North India is covered with rains.. Wonder why rain gods in Jammu don't wanna bless us..
When I was in Delhi, it never used to rain much.. And now that I'm back home, it doesn't rain much here either.. Last year the entire country had above average rainfall, except J&K which had rainfall deficit..
I wonder why Accuweather warns me every morning to expect thunderstorms during the day... The only thundering sound I hear is the sound of random Royal Enflied Bikes on the road... and the only storms are the internal storms of fear, anxiety and exam pressure.That's all folks..
Winding up..!!
...
Jammu People Complaining about Climate! WoW! :P :D
Yummy! Nothing more gives that satisfying dopamine rush than striking down those targets written on the chit pad. Felt that 2018-esque thing. Wasn't able to do Locke but rest done almost everything.
Day 14(9th August)
Till 9:30- Complete Locke
Between 9:30 and 1:30- GS
1:30- 7:30- College Classes

@THE_MECHANIC Dhayaan rakho apna bhai.
Shubh Ratri doston!
Good Good!Done all except the last target. What makes me to gush is not the quantity but rather the quality of study hours in the past 2 days. The focus has been good and I hope it continues(will force it to continue anyway) this way around.
Day 15 (10th August)
6:30-9:30- Rousseau(I had written his spelling as 'Rosseau' till now.lol PSIR)+ Bentham+ Mill(Uphill task but I have to do this)
9:30-1:30- GS portion
1:30-7:30- Classes
8:30-9:30- Newspaper
9:30-11:30- CA+ Today's last target
@sjerngal Btaiye @Freakhoto ko ki Jammu is +- 1-2 degree celsius vis a vis Delhi in most parts of the plain. Btw, we had blizzard in our part of Jammu(Bad joke,I know)

I had to delete my YPT app with a heavy heart guys, its been making my device really glitchy and it keeps crashing all my apps. Let me see if it gets any better after deleting the app, I’ll miss using it but keep clocking your impressive hours guys :)
Done mostly for the day. It wasn’t as productive as I would have liked but oh well, you’ve got to do what you got to do. Any other alternatives to YPT? Will this be the moment that I cave and purchase forest? Or willi get my shit together and get things done without needing a constant timer above my head? Stay tuned for the next episode…
Studygang is a good alternative. But its timer did suck yesterday and today in my case(maybe due to blockers and all I use).
Statics ->revision + PYQs done
Environment revision ->done
CA revision ->done
Newspaper ->done
Total time studied ->8 hours 49 mins
Overall it was a really productive day. Besides my studies, I went for a long walk, read a book (Dante's Divine Comedy) for an hour, watched a football match (Barca vs Juventus). It was one of those days where it looked like I had all the time and energy I needed. I guess the main reason is that yesterday I took a break so I'm feeling completely rejuvenated today. Let's hope the momentum carries on. Goodnight amigos :)

If you're looking for a timer/planner similar to YPT, try Todait. It has a similar interface. (again it's a South Korean app). It doesn't have the group accountability feature of YPT though. Plus I'm not sure if it has the ability to lock away your phone like YPT does.. It's been a while since I used Todait so there may have been updates with new features.
Starting a new sub-thread (if you can call it that) because the plan for prelims is ready and tomorrow is going to be Day 1! Still need to be done with optional, so this is going to be the last week for that. Same with Vision CA magazines. Will try to be more accountable here from now on.
Targets: 9-10 Hours
- SFG Tests Revision: Polity Finish (2) + Physical Geography (4)
- Finish Vision May CA
- Revise Physical Geography
- Statics & Dynamics PYQs
All the best people! May we all have a good good Monday!
Had a decent day after a while. Was able to finish the SFG target, and almost finish the CA target. Maths, of course, is getting neglected because prelims but this is the last chapter that I have to finish before prelims so need to be done with it. Clocked around 8 productive hours today.
Targets: 9-10 Hours
- SFG Tests Revision: Indian Geography (4)
- Finish Vision May 2021 CA
- Start Vision June 2021 CA (1/3)
- Statics & Dynamics PYQs
@mightyraju I knowwww mann... Maine kaise soch lia ki merko forum pe nahi milega koi jisko lagta hoga ki Jammu me toh bahut thand hoti hogi.. Spent almost a year in Delhi telling people ki Jammu me baraf ni padhti... It snows in Kashmir, which is 300km away.. Lol..
@Freakhoto , Jammu and Delhi more or less have similar weather scene.. Jammu slightly has a better weather.... But I want rains :( Meanwhile my mind after studying Indian monsoon, is constantly thinking that moisture khatam ho gaya hoga, by the time it reaches here. ..

@LetsGetThisBread you can check out 'Focus to do' app. It has group feature, timer etc. Looks good to me.

Also create a fixed time routine of study to achieve consistency

better marks.. wow.. I had the worst test till date..
Base effect ka kamal. I have been getting low marks in last few tests. (Secretlywishingto approach your marks in near future or feature in green zone for once, whichever is earlier.
