@Mike, after closely looking at the so called fake pdf, some of the glaring differences present in the pdf w.r.t the genuine 2018 mains result are mentioned below-

1. No proper editing done. The dates such as - "20thSeptember to 29thSeptember, 2019" misses out on the required spacing between date and month which is not the case with 2018 genuine mains result.

2. "CIVILSERVICES(MAIN)EXAMINATION" written at the end of every page in the fake pdf suffers from similar spacing errors which are not present in its genuine 2018 counterpart.

3. The same mistake is done at the end of the pdf for the last two lines.

4. And most importantly, in point no. 6 the year of the Revised Cadre Allocation Policy has been kept the same as last year's genuine 2018 mains result which is 2017 but in the fake pdf, the date has been changed to 08.10.2018 from 05.09.2017 (mentioned in the genuine 2018 mains result). In fact, the last allocation was revised in 05.09.2017 in 2017 and so the fake pdf which mentions the last revised date as 08.10.2018 but year as 2017 is definitely a glaring error.

So nice try by the creator of this fake pdf, but missed out on the nuances.

Those who man UPSC phones don't even know when the result is going to be out till it is actually out and here we have some of us worrying over a fakepdf generated in a telegram group primarily meant for doing bakchodi.

Yep, checked no DOPT order on 08.10.2018 with regards to cadre allocation and cadres in general.

are result ki wait sach me kaafi psychological impact karti hai; guys you ppl are going to be future civil servants kisi bhi unofficial document pe bharosa mat kia karo !! p.s check out the last line date vaali;, it is unformatted without any space ; and result would have been declared by 20th december according to it !

What was the email such EWS candidates got who didnt have the document before 1st Aug

this line wont have been there in last years pdf so is not copied , does it look like an official line ? while creating a fake would the had made an effort to include this line

I think there's a grammatical mistake.
The clarification on the status of such candidateshavehas been cleared.... would be correct statement.

This activity was actually done by few from tg.
Most of the times, the result was positive it seems.
While the editing is not correct, the roll nos are actually
of highly probable candidates.
Don't know how to understand this contradictions.

@Kira0705Mails were sent to EWS candidates on 22nd October 2019 not 20th. I have an image of the letter that upsc sent to EWS candidates via e-mail. Don't know how to post it though.

@StarkHouseDefine 'highly probable candidates'. I know two people one with 6th attempt and 3 interviews another with 4th attempt and 2 interviews and both their names are not there.
