[official][prelims 2023] How was prelims result? In or out?

Has anyone marked "3 pairs only" for use of HFCs? In all authentic sources, it is clearly mentioned that HFC is used for foam, aerosol, fire and solvents (but not lubricant). See for example: FS 2 Overview of HFC Markets final.pdf (unep.org). Vision key just mentions that lubricant exists for places where HFCs are used as refrigerants but it doesn't answer the question.

can you also confirm for:

- 'MSME': whether all MSMEs qualify - I marked D since not all MSME's qualify.

- 'Due process of law': natural justice vs fair application of law (I've marked C).

For other controversial ones, vision's key seems correct:

- UNOPS: I think the source website / pdf is pretty clear that rapid transport is not included.

- GCM: Again the source is clear that internal migration is not covered.

- Scheduled areas: The article linked by visionias seems to be the source for this question

all 3 are -2.66 for me :(

For scheduled areas, that statement is verbatim lifted from economic weekly article and that is a very strong signal that it is 'the' source for the question. Governors and the Fifth Schedule : Failing the Constitutional Mandate | Economic and Political Weekly (epw.in)

Given the number of disputed questions, all those 90+ can easily go to 75+. Your best bet is to assume disputed ones as wrong and if the baseline is still >80 then you are on a solid footing.

For scheduled areas question, since there is a news article having the same statements word by word, the answer is bound to be two only. Our research doesn't matter. I've marked one only as well so counting -2.6 for that one.

What are the authentic sources for constitutional amendment question (1st vs 42nd amendment) and the due process of law?

+1, I think due process means fair application of law.

@Sangaideer squirrel, prison, migration pact imo....but who knows......

what should be the answer for GCM? A?

What's the doubt in GCM? Vision has cited the source and there is no mention of internal displacement so answer is (D). (Btw I myself marked A)

Well, there is no mention of the term 'internal migration' in the whole list of 23 objectives so it's hard to justify and pass off 'internal migration' as 'local'.

Is option (b) the consensus on squirrels question?

What a shit show, prelims is becoming more and more of a luck game with every passing year. I don't remember seeing 20+ 'swing' questions earlier.

Can you now contact UNEP or CCAC for the HFC question?

Non-engineering ke liye csat ka 23% karna hai toh engineers ke liye gs ka 70 kar do. Common But Differentiated Responsibility

you forgot to add "respective capabilities" (CBDR-RC)

As per TG, case has been dismissed already.

What was the number of applicants in the cleared-csat category last year?

@Ri2raj let's see, I'm still skeptical about this robot guy. If true then yes anyone with 80+ (after assuming all disputed wrong) or 90+ with coaching keys is in.
