Hi! Found this .. The answer to question 2 is correct. MSG is non essential as it is already produced by our body and it does help in normal functioning of the body. Though I marked it incorrectly:P

I am assuming that by change in temperature it should be assumed as global warming induced change in temperature, in which case it can’t be natural cause. Not sure though

It can be produced by body.
But it is required for proper functioning of the body. 🙂

Non essential doesn’t mean it isn’t necessary for our body, it just means our body produces it by itself and hence doesnt need to be externally given through eating. It remains that MSG is needed for our body functioning

Death of zooxanthellae is the immediate cause of coral bleaching.
Changes in salinity, temperature change, Increase in UV radiations, photosynthetic radiations disturb the environment and leads to stress which leads to killing of protozoa, zooxenthallae. Now symbiotic relation is essential for corals to survive. It is because of the breakdown of symbiosis with zooxenthallae, coral bleaching and subsequently their death takes place.
What exactly is meant by ‘natural cause’ – I guessed it like this.
Can anyone give the explanation -

Also, Isn’t death/expulsion of Zooxanthellae collectively known as Coral bleaching..? Sudden Temperature change is the reason why coral bleaching happens (i.e. why the organism dies/leaves)
