in ques 1. Gravitational force is inversely proportional to r^2.. r at equator is greater than r at poles.. so GF will be greater at poles.

I think question number 1 is wrong the answer should be 1only as it is given in explanation – The gravitation force (g) is not the same at different latitudes on the surface. It is greater near the poles and less at the equator.
