UPSC Releases Prelims 2015 Admit Card – Do not forget these points

UPSC has released the Civil Services Examination 2015 Admit Card.

In case of any discrepancies in the Admit Card, contact UPSC immediately.

• If links are not working in one browser, use a different browser to download. UPSC recommends Chrome or Mozilla. If none are working, maybe javascript is disabled in your browser. Enable javascript. Google how to do it. If nothing works, just use a different machine where someone has successfully downloaded.

• Note that, for repetitive downloads, the UPSC server may block you. So, do not ask friends who are also downloading their own admit cards to download your card too by posting your details. If you do get blocked, then contact UPSC via email.

• If you have filled the form multiple times, download only he copy last filled.

• Preferably, do not download on mobiles.

• UPSC advises you that in case your photo is not clear, you need to carry a photo identity proof like Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter Card, PAN Card etc and two passport size photographs for appearing in the examination, along with an undertaking. But why take chances? Just carry a Photo Id and two passport photos to the exam anyways. The undertaking’s format will be something like: “I hereby declare that I am the person whose photo is attached here” followed by your signature. But take a blank sheet of paper which you can fill there itself under the guidance of the invigilator.

• Only black ball point pens are allowed.

• Never change your signatures. Do not put full signature at one place and half signature at another place. Stick to whatever you have uploaded.

• This year will be counted as an attempt only if you attend the exam. Simply filling up the form and getting an Admit Card does not count as an attempt.
