Question 18 - Impact of EJ (Easterly Jet) on India climate?

Argument - TEJ which starts once STJ totally shifts northwards do shifts air circulation patterns and increases intensity of Indian monsoon by helping to create low pressure areas over India at lower levels however same gets reflected divergence in upper atmosphere leading to high pressure in upper atmosphere.

I think answer D is better suited compared to answer B as EJ intensifies monsoon rather than actual onset (monsoon would've arrived even in absence of EJ once STJ shifts north as STJ only blocks it before June). Option D is correct invariably.
